Export options are available from multiple screens. From the Editor you can export the full arrangement or a single clip. The Sampler lets you export a pad or full performance. The Drum screen exports a pattern or entire kit. And Compose exports a melody as audio or MIDI.
Choose a format
ESSNCE exports in six formats. Each has a purpose.
You can also export notation as a standard MIDI file from the Compose screen or Notes — it opens in any DAW like Ableton, FL Studio, or Logic.
Export the track
- Make sure nothing is selected on the timeline (tap empty space to deselect). This tells ESSNCE to export the full arrangement, not just one clip.
- Tap EXPORT in the transport bar.
- Choose your format.
- Tap export. The file lands in your downloads folder, named after your project.
- After rendering, a share sheet appears. Send your export to messaging apps, email, or cloud storage without leaving ESSNCE.
You can also export a single clip or sample — from the EDIT screen by selecting one clip first, or from the SMPLR screen by long-pressing a pad and choosing export in the sound designer. You can export individual sampler pads (as WAV), drum patterns (as audio or MIDI), synth presets (baked to audio), and notation (as audio or MIDI). The Compose screen lets you send a melody directly to a sampler pad, drum track, or the editor timeline.
Your track is exported. A real audio file on your device. You just made a complete piece of music from scratch, on your phone.
